چکیده

Abstract In this work, the engineered polyaniline (PANI)/epoxy composites reinforced with PANI-M (physical mixture of PANI spheres and fibers) exhibit significantly enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption performance mechanical property. Due to synergistic effect fillers different geometries, reflection loss 10.0 wt% PANI-M/epoxy could reach − 36.8 dB at 17.7 GHz. Meanwhile, properties (including tensile strength, toughness, flexural strength) PANI/epoxy were systematically studied. Compared pure epoxy, strength epoxy 2.0 was improved 86.2 MPa. Moreover, (PANI-S) fibers (PANI-F) prepared by chemical oxidation polymerization method interface method, respectively. The characterizations including scanning electron microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectra, X-ray diffraction applied analyze morphology crystal structures filler. This work provide guideline for preparation advanced nanocomposites pollution treatment. Graphical abstract

An Experimental Study on Toughening Mechanisms of Fillers in Epoxy/ Silica Nanocomposites

In this paper, a systematic study on the effects of particle size and hybrid of two different size of silica nanoparticles on the toughening mechanisms of bisphenol-A epoxy was conducted. Nanosilica particles with mean diameter of 17 nm and 65 nm were blended into epoxy system. Probable synergy effects of these two nanoparticles on Young’s modulus and yield strength have been investigated. ...

investigation of electromagnetic properties of epoxy-graphene nanocomposites

in this research, electromagnetic properties of graphene-epoxy nanocomposite up to 3wt% graphene, were investigated in x band. results showed that these nanocomposites do not have significant permeability so that it can be considered equal to 1. however they exhibit high permittivity such that real part of permittivity of 3wt% graphene sample is 8.4 in 8ghz and 6.8 in 12ghz frequencies, which a...

Fracture Toughness and Elastic Modulus of Epoxy-Based Nanocomposites with Dopamine-Modified Nano-Fillers

This paper examines the effect of surface treatment and filler shape factor on the fracture toughness and elastic modulus of epoxy-based nanocomposite. Two forms of nanofillers, polydopamine-coated montmorillonite clay (D-clay) and polydopamine-coated carbon nanofibres (D-CNF) were investigated. It was found that Young's modulus increases with increasing D-clay and D-CNF loading. However, the f...
